Sometimes our hearts get tangled
And our souls a little off-kilter
Friends and family can set us right
And help guide us back to the light

It's Friday!!!

I am so happy it's Friday! This week has felt so long but has flown by at the same time! Tomorrow I take Payton for her 6 month photos. I cant wait to see them, they always come out so cute and end up costing me so much more money then I intend to spend! I tried so hard to get her to sit up on her own for these photos but she acts like she wants nothing of it. Every once in a while she will sit by herself but then when she realizes what shes doing she just lets herself fall over. Its frustrating but I know when shes ready she will get it. She has also figured out now that if she doesn't want to do tummy time that she can just roll herself over! So now I block her from rolling, let me tell you how mad that makes her!
She is getting her first teeth! 2 at once, poor thing! One has started popping through and the other one you can see is right below the surface. They are both her bottom front teeth. She is a very good tether though. She doesn't fuss at all but she does drool like crazy and she loves to suck on her clothes. The front of her clothes are always soaking wet!
OK, well there really isn't much more going on with us right now as soon as I have more I will write! I promise to add more pictures soon too!

Were going to try this!

So I have noticed so many of my friends "blogging" and really didn't think much of it. I thought it was neat to get updates on them, especially the ones I don't get to talk to very much but I never thought about starting one for our family. It just occurred to me (I know, I know) that we have so much family and friends that we just don't see that often that this might be a perfect way for us to keep in contact with them! So were going to try this!!

So whats new with us... First off Payton just turned 6 months old yesterday! I cant believe how fast it has gone by! She changes everyday and I look forward to seeing her do something new everyday. Everything goes in her mouth now and she has learned to grab her bottle and put it in her own mouth if I'm not going fast enough for her. She is starting to roll over and she is attempting the motion of crawling but it seems like her upper body doesn't want to go with the rest of her. She absolutely loves the dogs! I had no idea watching a dog scratch was so amusing! Whenever they do she just cracks up! I cant help but laugh with her. They of course love her, especially when there is food on her face they are hoping they can lick off! (Don't worry, we don't let them but we have to keep a close eye on those sneaky pups!)
We recently went back to Oklahoma to surprise my grandpa for his 80th birthday. He had a great turn out and the quick trip was well worth it to see how happy he was. However we brought with us a stomach bug that Payton got and we ended up passing it on to almost everyone in the family! Poor Payton was so sick with the stomach bug and before that she had strep throat and a double ear infection! Poor baby! She is a 100% better now which is such a relief!
I think that's all for now but I hope I can keep up with this and keep everyone posted on our updates! Once I figure this thing out more I will add pictures!
